Here's a picture of the nitrous kit, as it was shipped. It stayed in this condition for about 2 months before I realized I just wasn't going to have the time to install this myself. So I had it installed to extremely specific specs, at a local hot rod shop.

As the old saying goes, if you want something done right, you have to do it your self. So, after over 6 months of trying to have to local shop "Get it right", I finally gave up and ripped everything out and started over from scratch.

After one marathon weekend, I got everything wired correctly, and it fired up just as disigned the first time. I did just re-wire (9/8) the FPSS as I had it controlling both fuel & nitrous solenoids, now it just controls the nitrous one.

Here you can see how I mounted the solenoids. There is a polished aluminum plate that the solenoids mount to, which is attached via some stainless bolts and sleeves to cover them.

All the lines (including the electrical) are covered with the stock wire loom, with the exception of the braided stainless lines to the shark nozzle in the MAF.

Here's a close-up of the solenoids. You can't really tell from this picture, but the purge pipe is polished only ½ way. Where it pops through the vent, it's painted flat black.

All the wires are soldered and covered with shrink tubing, and covered with the factory looking wire loom.

Here's a picture of the bottle mounted in the spare tire well. The purple thing is the NX Remote opener. Click for full size

I've got this shot of the NX opener. I ended up mounting the gauge to the wheel well with some coated hose brackets. A better shot of just the gauge can be seen here.

Last but not least, are my switches. The remote opener you can see, is by my knee, and the purge button and the line lock button are right behind the ashtray.

The blue lit switch is for the "main N2O on", the switch next to it is for the bottle warmer. The lights on top of the switches are functionally wired. The red light is for my line-lock "ON", the yellow light is bottle warmer "ON" (This only comes on, when the warmer pad is warming the bottle, regardless of the position of the switch) and the green light is wired to the N2O solenoid, and lights up when power is applied. Assuming the solenoid is functioning properly, this is telling me the juice is flowing. (As if I couldn't feel it... :)
