Funny thing.... As I was putting
these pictures together, I realized. This picture is not only a picture
of the newest Cosick being welcomed into the world by her family. It is
ALL the Cosicks.
We are all a very close family, with
brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and grandparents all over the place.
It just struck me this time that as large as our "family" is,
there are only 5 of us that still carry the "Cosick" name.

Moments after birth. The nurse
asked me if I would like to feel the heartbeat, and told me to grab the
umbilical cord. It felt kinda weird, but it was neat to feel the connection
between mother & child.

The nurse took her over to wipe
her down, and clean her up a bit.
